I'm a graphic designer working on my business letterhead; vintage office is the theme I chose. I found a lot of onion skin paper (which I've always loved) which I'll pair with a vintage banner logo. It's not ready to post yet, but it's going to be along these lines ( http://i4.ebayimg.com/03/i/04/0c/4e/79_1_b.JPG )
I still have a lot of decisions to make. For one thing, I have no idea what sort of envelopes were paired with onion skin paper. Unfortunately, I was not alive to see this in person the first time, so I'm flying blind. If anyone remembers what business correspondences looked like in the 50s and 60s and could give some input I'd really appreciate it. I don't need total accuracy, but it would be nice to hit the right decade, at least.
I want to purchase interesting, business sized envelopes...slightly yellowed would be ideal. However, I will need a decent lot of them (say 50 at least), and they must be unused. I am also interested in old pressboard folders (like this, but vintage: http://www.gatewayindustries.org/Images/960%20pearl%20folder.jpg)
I'm open to looking at any other vintage office paper goods as well. But those are my primary interests right now. So if anyone has any of these to see, please let me know.
Thanks!
